With this kit, cultivating your micro worms is so easy that you can finally do without brine shrimp.
More practical, even smaller and... without salt water!
Unlike adult fish, few fry accept artificial and industrial food. And when they manage to eat it, their growth and health often suffer.
The solution of brine shrimp nauplii exists. But it requires considerable know-how and patience, space, and substantial equipment. Not to mention that these are salty crustaceans that must be rinsed beforehand in a special sieve.
For many years, experienced aquarists have known that brine shrimp are advantageously replaced by micro worms. These worms are absolutely tiny and can be swallowed by fry even earlier than the much larger brine shrimp nauplii.
For example, guppy or platy fry feed on them from birth, and cichlid fry after barely 3 days!
However, artisanal breeding of micro worms, outside of a fish-room, is problematic. Between more or less foul-smelling recipes, makeshift or reused containers, neither eyes nor nose are pleased!
It is a pity because, while any aquarist has fry at some point, the ideal culture to feed them remains quite confidential and reserved for the initiated.

This superb kit contains an attractive culture jar that can be placed next to the aquarium without needing to hide it. The substrate is almost odorless and allows a culture of about one month.
A wooden stirrer, a dosing syringe, and clear instructions make starting the culture disarmingly easy. The live natural worm strain is obviously provided. A brush is added to the set for simple and clean worm harvesting.
By following the provided tips and tricks, this very simple culture starts quickly and allows you to harvest after just a few days enough to feed your fry abundantly, several times a day.
After one month, you just need to use the Zollabox Baby refill to transplant your first culture into a new substrate. A new stirrer is also provided.
