Vinegar eels are extremely thin nematodes (maximum 1 mm long, and only a few microns thick!) that swim and spread throughout the tank, ideal for very small fry who need tiny microscopic and mobile prey.

Use as live food for fry
- No need to shake the dose, the vinegar eels are generally evenly distributed throughout the volume.
- Pour directly into the tank where the fry are located. They will swim (invisible without a magnifying glass!) and spread throughout the volume of the tank.
- Can replace infusoria or follow them. Their size is incredibly fine. A fry can eat dozens in one day.
- Even shrimp are able to feed on them.
FAQ - Ready-to-use Vinegar eels
Will they acidify the water?
No, they are delivered in pure water (they have been previously separated from their vinegar medium).
How long do they keep?
In the refrigerator, about a week, but it is preferable to give them immediately to the fry. They live very well in water without vinegar, but just cannot reproduce there.
Suitable for all fry?
Yes, even for fry of oviparous species, very small, in association with infusoria produced by paddy rice. Then move on to micro worms, then to Grindal worm.
Difference with a classic strain of Vinegar eels?
No culture to manage, immediate feeding and no risk of acidity. Ideal if you cannot wait for the always long start of a new culture, for example in the case of unexpected breeding.
