Quick instructions
- 🚰 Preparation: Pour the sachet into a container of tap water (several liters depending on your needs). If you prepared this water the day before or use aquarium water, even better.
- ☀️ Light: Expose to light (ideally indirect sunlight) so the microalgae continue to develop. Ideally between 12:00 and 16:00 hours per day.
- 🍽️ Feeding: Distribute regularly into your daphnia and ostracod breeding tanks. Daphnia eat it suspended in the water, ostracods wait for some to settle at the bottom.
- 🔄 Maintenance: Add water to the culture to compensate for consumption and return it to the light. A drop of liquid fertilizer can help if you don’t use aquarium water.
- 💡 Tip: "Green water" is undesirable in a display aquarium (because it looks unattractive) but valuable for feeding your aquatic creature cultures.
Recommended uses

Daphnia breeding: (bucket, outdoor tank, trashcan pond...). They continuously filter microalgae in suspension to feed.

Ostracods and microfauna: feed on it when it settles on surfaces. This slow sedimentation covers supports with a green felt that the microfauna "grazes" on.
