A European, amphibious and perennial carpeting plant
Shore Grass forms very dense 3–4 cm lawns (up to 10 cm maximum) and lives both submerged and emerged. In an aquarium, it creates a rare, short and very natural carpet. In a pond, it stabilizes the banks and regrows each spring from its underground parts.
This species is protected because it is threatened: therefore, never collect it from the wild. Its dark green color is rare among carpeting plants.
