A beautiful enchytraeid is a gift for them, but very few aquarists know how to raise them...

However, these fish need natural food just as much as the others, and there is no reason to condemn them forever to industrial and artificial food.

In nature, fish watch for insects and worms that fall into the water. The humus-rich soil of the banks is a precious reserve of delicious little creatures for them!

In this rich, black soil lives a worm accustomed to moisture and highly valued by fish: the enchytraeid. It can sometimes be found in forest litter, compost heaps, or flooded lands along the water's edge.

Capable of surviving for hours, even days in water, the enchytraeid thrives under certain conditions that must be replicated if one hopes to raise it.

The Zollabox Fish L is a superb kit that provides you with the materials and advice to easily succeed in this very useful breeding.
This box contains a round crystal culture pot (with its lid). Space-saving, reserve a cool place in the house for it (the ideal temperature is between 15 and 18°C).
A culture substrate specially studied for this crop is provided.
A glass blade, a special food, and a clear instruction allow you to start the culture yourself with step-by-step guidance.
The strain of living natural worms is obviously provided in a portion of substrate that already contains all the necessary microbiota. A brush is added to the set for easy harvesting of the worms.

With a little patience, over the weeks, you will gradually see your first worms at the level of the glass blade and will then be able to start collecting them to give to your fish.
To do this, use the special tool provided and use the rinsing pot to cleanly separate them from the substrate.
