(set of 6 individuals)

Fascinating creatures of our seas, the glossiphonia naturally regulates snail populations and provides a rare spectacle in aquariums.

The glossiphonia is a small aquatic curiosity.
This tiny leech, measuring less than 3 cm when fully stretched, is absolutely harmless to humans and fish.
It is a small freshwater leech that does not feed on blood, but only on snails like the bladder snails and worms like tubifex or aquatic earthworms. It can also prey on mud worms.
Here is a small discreet predator, particularly useful for regulating the populations of bladder snails. With the glossiphonia, snails that want to proliferate better watch out!
Fish generally do not eat it, so it can live its life peacefully in aquariums or ponds, where it will cause no damage.
On the contrary, it will be an additional element of the biodiversity of the environment, which will thus enhance its resilience and complexity.
Fun to observe, it moves like certain caterpillars by extending its body, then retracting it.
Unlike snails, she does not leave eggs on plants or decor, but keeps the eggs underneath her, ventilates them, protects them, and even goes so far as to carry her offspring on her after they hatch. It has recently been discovered that she even feeds them through her skin, just like a mammal would!
Very robust, the glossiphonia is very little sensitive to water quality and temperature.
A strain contains 6 individuals to install in your aquarium, your pond, or your pocket pool.
