(XL kit for combating green water for large aquarium or pond) - French instructions included

Is the water in your large aquarium (+300l) or your pond turning green?
This Zollabox allows you to combat suspended microscopic algae responsible for green water naturally, without any reliance on chemical solutions.
This box, here in XL version for large aquarium or pond, is a unique and exclusive solution that takes advantage of natural cycles.

Few aquarists escape this recurring problem in aquariums and ponds: green water!

Few truly effective solutions exist.

"We generally resort to chemical 'anti-algae' products, the toxicity of which then requires water changes. But any chemical treatment, as we unfortunately know, disrupts the delicate microbial balance of an aquarium or pond."

"Green water is not only unaesthetic. It poses a risk of a sudden death of this suspended mass of algae on the aquarium or pond, which is enough to deprive the water of oxygen in just a few days. Indeed, the ultra-rapid decomposition of microscopic algae then consumes all the dissolved oxygen, killing the fish and turning the water into a foul brownish liquid."

"That's also why it's necessary to change the water after chemical treatments: the algae that have been killed are likely to rot right away!"
The problem remains the same (with less chemistry) when trying to kill the algae by reducing the lighting.

The Zollabox Eau Claire XL is the result of our passion for aquatic ecosystems and our experience with the organisms that make up plankton.
"It allows you to fight against green water just like nature would, without the slightest chemical treatment!"

The Zollabox Eau Claire XL box is based on a true innovation, created in 2019 by Aquazolla.
Inspired by the principles of natural aquaristics, it reproduces the natural chain of plankton which is actually a food chain.

In nature, indeed, the algae that make up the green water are consumed by zooplankton, which is primarily made up of daphnia.

These small crustaceans (also called "water fleas") filter water continuously to feed on suspended algae.

"But, in an aquarium, due to the presence of fish, this chain is broken, as the daphnia are quickly eaten by the fish. It is the presence of fish that prohibits the presence of zooplankton and breaks the natural cycle."

By creating the Zolla Clear, Aquazolla has allowed aquarists to protect the daphnia from the fish's appetite, while they filter the green water. Then, these daphnia can be fed to the fish, and the cycle is complete!
You will have transformed the algae into daphnia, which will in turn feed your fish. Just like in nature.

"You will then just have to store your Zolla'Clear XL, to be ready to reuse it if the water turns green again one day. Your anti-green water weapon will always be within reach..."

'When you want to reuse your Zolla'Clear XL, there is no need to buy a new Zollabox Eau Claire XL. You just need to use the Zollabox Eau Claire XL refill to fill it with new daphnia and start the process again.'
