Egeria Najas: ultra-fast growing oxygenating plant
The Egeria najas is a little-known cousin of elodea (Egeria densa), but even more robust and vigorous. It grows at an impressive speed, capturing nitrates and phosphates, thus strongly limiting the spread of algae by starving them. It also has a specific action against cyanobacteria thanks to its natural antibiotic molecules with antibacterial effect.
Versatile and hardy, it adapts to many conditions: soft or hard water, variable pH, low or strong light, herbivorous fish, snails... It oxygenates the water abundantly (you can even see it "bubbling"!), thus contributing to the overall health of the ecosystem.
An extremely effective natural purifier and anti-algae plant, perfect for ponds, aquariums, and trash tanks.
